Scholarships/Financial Assistance
CAC Scholarship Assistance
NHA strives to provide an opportunity for every child who wants to play hockey. The NHA coordinates with the Northfield Youth Scholarships Collaborative (NYSC) through the Community Action Center (CAC) to provide financial assistance to participants that demonstrate a financial need and facilitate access to its programs.
If you are seeking scholarship assistance, please initially contact the Northfield Community Action Center (CAC) prior to registration.

Phone: (507) 664-3550
Address: 1651 Jefferson Parkway, Northfield 55057
Parents contact the CAC, complete a brief intake if they are new to CAC services, and then fill out the scholarship form. The maximum coverage by the NYSC is $300 per year.
After assistance from CAC, players can apply for scholarships directly through NHA. All players that meet the eligibility requirements to play for NHA are eligible to apply for financial assistance. Scholarships are granted on a per season basis and applicants must reapply each season. Please see the NHA Handbook for specific information regarding this process.
Families receiving scholarships are required to participate in all necessary volunteer hours and required fundraising events.
